From September 1 to September 3, 2025, the 3rd Seoul International Disability Park Golf Invitational was successfully held in Seoul, South Korea. The tournament brought together athletes with disabilities from seven countries — China, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Laos — to compete on the same course and strengthen bonds of friendship. Mr He Xiaolong, Senior Partner of Zhejiang Taihang Law Firm and Chairman of the Zhejiang Provincial Association of Persons with Physical Disabilities, participated as both the leader of the Chinese delegation and a competing athlete. Ms Li Shiying of Taihang Law Firm and Ms Zhou Xiuzhi of Taihang's Haikou Branch Office accompanied the delegation as volunteer interpreters and support staff.

The opening ceremony of the 3rd Seoul International Disability Park Golf Invitational was held with great solemnity, attended by national dignitaries of the Republic of Korea and senior officials of the Seoul Metropolitan Government. As this was the Chinese delegation's inaugural participation in the sport of park golf, the organisers arranged for the delegation to attend an acclimatisation training session at a local golf training facility after the opening ceremony. Under the guidance of professional coaches, the Chinese athletes engaged in energetic preparation for the competition.

After the tournament officially commenced, the athletes competed with their swings on the fairways, demonstrating a sporting spirit and tenacious will that transcended physical limitations. This competition did not set rankings, but presented golf equipment to the most outstanding athlete from each country as encouragement, truly embodying the sporting ethos of "Friendship First, Competition Second."

Mr He Xiaolong, representing the China Association of Persons with Physical Disabilities (CAPD), executed a Memorandum of Understanding with Disabled Peoples' International Korea (DPI Korea) and the Korea Association of Persons with Physical Disabilities (KAPPD). Ms Li Shiying provided translation assistance throughout the proceedings. The signing process not only reflected the professional competence of Taihang's Lawyers but also demonstrated the firm's capacity to leverage social resources in actively engaging in international exchange and cooperation. Concurrently, the other members of the Chinese delegation participated in a cultural tourism experience at Eunpyeong Hanok Village organised by the host, with Ms Zhou Xiuzhi providing full accompaniment and support services for the athletes. That afternoon, the closing ceremony of the 3rd Seoul International Disability Park Golf Invitational was brought to a successful conclusion.

On September 4, the Chinese delegation satisfactorily completed its mission and returned home. This journey represented far more than a sporting competition; it constituted a successful public interest initiative and an exercise in foreign-related exchange. The effective leadership of Mr He Xiaolong, combined with the professional assistance and attentive safeguarding provided by Ms Li Shiying and Zhou Xiuzhi, collectively formed a solid backbone for the Chinese delegation. Moving forward, Zhejiang Taihang Law Firm will continue to uphold its commitment to serving society, encourage and support its Lawyers in actively participating in diverse public interest endeavours, fulfil social responsibilities through the application of professional expertise, and demonstrate the broad vision and humanistic spirit of contemporary Chinese legal professionals — to contribute to the advancement of cultural exchange and friendship between China and the international community.
